The ACS2 climate controller uses the newest technologies to make controlling, surveillance, and communication between farms simpler, faster and more user friendly than ever. In addition, the ACS2 boasts first in the business advanced log functions that help you improve traceability and food quality and safety. The ACS2 links to other controllers, laptops and the internet through the all new ACSnet management system.

The ACSnet system uses a central server. Each ACS2 controller stores all parameters on its local Solid State Drive and communicates the parameters to the server and vice versa.

The master user defines password and user level for each employee, and the user level given then defines what and how many parameters the employee is allowed to see and change. So, for instance, a newcomer can be given the rights to enter number of dead animals. She will see only the parameters of relevance to her, and she can enter parameters in the allowed lines only. And whether she speaks Russian, German, English or some other language is not important: The ACS2 has enough power to handle 16 different languages at the same time, and the choice of language is really only limited by the translation.

The range of ACS controllers from DACS have long been known for their unsurpassed reliability and the advanced climate control functions, and the energy savings, these advanced functions bring, have made the controllers the preferred choice for professional top growers. Now we have added new control functions to set the ACS2 apart from other controllers on the market:

• The ACS2 uses outdoor humidity sensors to determine the dehumidification potential. This feature not only improves the in-house environment, it also ensures tremendous savings on the heat bill.
• With its multitude of digital inputs and outputs, the ACS2 can run any type of ventilation system and control air inlets and exhausts completely independent of one another, both with regards to fan speed and baffle openings. You can set it up to run step ventilation, speed controls, a combination of the two, a pre-defined acceleration curve, cooling, heating, attic temperature control. You name it.

All settings and all texts can be altered by the user. If you do not  like the term “baffle”, then you just rename it “damper”. This makes it possible to personalize the system so that it describes exactly the functions it is actually controlling.

In addition to the climate control functions, the ACS2 has a number of built-in production control facilities, such as number of animals housed, mortality, water consumption, feed consumption, silo content, etc.
